Meet Kristi

Welcome to Short & Sweet! My name is Kristi Short, and I’m a self-taught cake artist specializing in custom cakes and cake toppers. My business began in 2020 during the pandemic with the creation of an innocent little fondant fox. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into something I never could have imagined.

Since then, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to create cakes and toppers for countless families and celebrations. I love taking an idea—whether it’s something simple or completely one-of-a-kind—and turning it into something that makes people smile.

Short & Sweet has grown far beyond where it started, but the heart behind it hasn’t changed. Every cake, cake box and topper is made with the same care and attention to detail I would want for my own family.

Most importantly, I truly believe God placed this path in front of me for a reason—to use the gifts He has given me to serve others, spread His Word and bring people joy. I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has trusted me to be a small part of their special moments, and I can’t wait to see where this journey leads next.
